Milan >> Firefighters managed to contain damage from a house fire on Sunday to an upstairs bedroom, attic and roof, but a family of three was left temporarily homeless, authorities said.

MILAN, N.Y. >> A house on this Northern Dutchess town was rendered uninhabitable when a fire burned through an exterior wall and the roof shortly before 3 p.m.

Jeffrey Galm, second assistant chief for the Milan Fire Department, said they had safely evacuated along with their cat
